Congrats to the Lady Saders Soccer team winning the district championship for the 3rd time in a row.  They beat Fulton 3-0.  Arielle Chambers set a record in scoring in 32 seconds of the game and added another score later in the first half.  Kaitlyn Wideman also scored.  Kaitlin Brauner, Taylor Hagenhoff, and Lindsey Shepard each had an assist.  Liz Czarnecki recorded her 11th shutout of the year.  The ladies will next play in the sectionals scheduled for next Tuesday.

The ladies outscored Osage 10-0 in the first game of districts on Saturday.  Tiffany Weaver had 2 goals and 2 assists in the game.  Kaitlin Brauner also had 2 goals.  Scoring one goal a piece were Jenna Duncan, Arielle Chambers, Courtney Lock, Madi Nichols, Carleigh Cavender, and Lindsey Shepard.  Other assists were from Lexi Melcher, Arielle Chambers, Courtney Lock, Carleigh Cavender, and Jenna Poire.  Liz Czarnecki recorded her 10th shutout of the season.  They will play Fulton in the District final on Tuesday.

The varsity soccer team lost its last regular season game to Hickman 2-0.  The girls end the regular season with a 12-10 record.  The ladies begin districts this Saturday against Osage in Boonville. 

The JV Girls Soccer Team finished their 2011 season with a win over Hickman's JV last night. Scoring goals were Abby Rockers, Mackenzie Casten, Whitley Malzer, Tori Keller, Abbie Heckman, Tiffany Weaver, Baylee Francka and Molly Hunt.  Getting assists were Holly Hassler, Jordan Poire and Tiffany Weaver with two.  Sharing time in goal were Lydia Linsenbardt, Katie Schokker and Mackenzie Casten.  Their 2011 record is 18-2.

The Soccer team had another tough game losing to Rolla 2-1 in penalty kicks.  Jenna Poire had the goal and Kaitlyn Wideman had the assist.  The ladies finish their regular season tonight against Hickman at the 179 Soccer Complex.

The Helias Girls JV Soccer Team won 5-0 over the Rolla JV last night.  Scoring goals were Jordan Poire, Abbie Heckman, Tiffany Weaver, Alison Borudreau and Jasmine Fox.  Getting credit for assists were Abbie Heckman, Kelsie Strope, Jasmine Fox and Tifany Weaver.  Katie Schokker and Lydia Linsenbardt split time in goal.  The JV is now 17-2.

The varsity beat Borgia 3-2 on Senior Day.  Arielle Chambers, Beth McGrail, and Alex Heislen each scored a goal.  Arielle Chambers and Carliegh Cavender each recorded an assist.  Their record is now 12-7.

The Helias Girls JV Soccer Team played Saturday against St. Francis Borgia.  We won 5-0.  Scoring goals were Becky Roberts with two goals and Meghan Napier, Meagan Myers and Kelsie Strope with one goal.  Assists were credited to Holly Hassler, Meghan Napier and Katie Schokker.  Lydia Linsenbardt and Katie Schokker split time in goal.
