Game Updates

  • Varsity Takes 3rd Place in STATE!

    Congrats to the soccer team on taking 3rd place this weekend at state in St Louis.  They lost their first game on Friday to St Domnic’s 2-0 and then they tied Cape Notre Dame 2-2 to share third place.  Michael Schulte scored each goal in the 3rd place game.  The soccer team ends their season with a 14-5-2 record.  The team would like to thank everyone who came and watched the games over the weekend.

  • Varsity Boys Advance to Final Four

    Congrats to the soccer team on their 1-0 victory over Smithville last night in the Quarterfinals.  Blake Wenzel had the winning goal on an assist from Conor Dermody with 4 minutes left.  Matt Skain had the shut out.  The team is now 14-4-1 on the season and they play in the final four next Friday at 2:00 against St. Dominic.  

  • Varsity Pushes into the Finals with Win over Warrensburg

    Congrats to the soccer team on their 5-0 win over Warrensburg last night in the semifinal game of districts.  Blake Wenzel led the team in scoring with 2 goals while Ryan Neeley, Jereme Sebastian, and Jordan Wisch each added one a piece.  Conor Dermody, Michael Schulte, Matt Rundle, Clay Schwinke, and Jereme Sebastian each had an assist.  Matt Skain had another shut out win.  That brings their record for the season to 12-4-1.   The team play again Thursday night at Moberly at 7 pm in the district final.

  • Helias Wins District over Moberly

    Congrats to the soccer team on their 1-0 shoot out win over Moberly.  Conor Dermody, Blake Wenzel, Eric Ward, Grant Sherwood, and Michael Schulte each made their goals is the shoot out and Matt Skain stopped one shot in the 5-4 win.  The team, with a record of 13-4-1, moves on to the quarterfinals next Thursday in Blue Springs.  

  • Soccer Team Blanks Booneville

    The Soccer Crusaders began their post season with a 10-0 win over Boonville in the first round of districts.  Blake Wenzel scored 3 goals and Kyle Dorge added 2.  Jereme Sebastian, Jordan Wisch, Skylar Stumbaugh, George Dyer, and Kyle Schenewerk each scored one goal.  Assists were from Conor Dermody, Kyle Schenewerk, Clay Schwinke, Michael Schulte, Kyle Dorge, Jereme Sebastian, and Sam Wieberg.  The team now moves on to play Warrensburg in the semifinal game in Moberly on Tuesday.
