Varsity wins first round of Districts

The soccer team won 5-1 over Kirksville in the first round of districts. Forrest McCurren had 2 goals, Ryan Neeley and Grant Sherwood each had one goal. Kevin Miller, Conor Dermody, Matt Seyer, and Forrest McCurren each had a assist. One goal was an own goal by Kirksville. The Varsity redoord is now 20-2-1.

Helias wins over Francis Howell North

The Varsity won 2-1 in penalty kicks (4-3) over Francis Howell North. Caleb Boeckman scored off an assist from Brian Dermody in the 2nd half. Francis Howell North scored with just seconds left in the game. After no goals were scored in the overtime period Conor Dermody, Forrest McCurren, Brian Dermody, and Michael Schulte each made their pk's. The Varsity record is now 19-1-1.

The JV won 1-0 on a goal by Skyler Stumbaugh. Matt Skain and Adam Stansfield worked the pipes for the shutout. The JV ends their season 12-3-1.

C Team beats Cole Camp Varsity

The varsity team won the Helias Quad by beating Sedalia Smith-Cotton 9-1. Forrest McCurren had 3 goals and 3 assists. Michael Schulte added 2 goals and Conor Dermody, Brian Dermody, Kevin Miller, and Jereme Sebastian each added a goal. Caleb Boeckman, Bryce Mihalevich, Grant Sherwood, James Ward, Eric Ward, and Mosen Murrillo all had an assist in the game. They also beat Jackson 2-0. Forrest McCurren and Kevin Miller had the goals. Michael Schulte added an assist. Jorden Bax was awarded the shutout. In the final game, they beat KC Northeast 5-0. Rock Bridge JV Tournament

The JV team won 3rd place in the Rock Bridge JV Tournament. The JV beat Camdenton 5-0, then lost 2-1 in overtime to Rock Bridge, and then beat JC 2-1 in PK's. George Dyer had 2 goals during the weekend and Ben McGrail scored the winning PK. The JV record is now 6-1-1 on the season.

The C team won 5th place in the Rock Bridge JV Tournament. They began losing to JC 2-1 in overtime, but then they beat Marshall 4-0 and Hickman 3-1. Kashif Gardner scored 3 goals over the weekend and Adam Stansfield had his first 2 wins of the season. The C team record is now 3-1-2.
