Helias Takes Fouth Place At State

Congrats to the soccer team on their 4th place finish at the Final Four. They lost 1-0 to the eventual state champion Priory on Friday and then lost to Smithville 3-1 on Saturday. Kyle Dorge had the goal. The boys finish the season with a record of 19-8-2.

Congrats to the soccer team on their 2-0 win over Bolivar in their quarterfinal game on Saturday. Kyle Dorge and Brett Jackson each scored a goal. Brett Jackson and Cody Fisher each had an assist. Joe Keeven recorded his 14th shutout. The team now plays in the Final Four starting Friday at 2:00 against Priory.

TJ Prenger scored the lone goal in the 2nd half to beat Warrensburg 1-0 in the sectional game and now they move on to play Bolivar in the Quarterfinals on Saturday.

Saders Take Districts from Fulton

Kyle Dorge scored a goal and had one pass go off a defender for an own goal in the 2-1 win over Fulton in the district championship game. The team meets Warrensburg in the sectional next Tuesday night at the 179 Soccer Park.

Congrats to the soccer team on beating Marshall 4-0 in the semifinal game of districts last night. Brett Jackson had 3 goals and Kyle Dorge scored one. Kyle Dorge also had 3 assists and Mark Mercurio added one of his own. Joe Keeven and Kyle Daledovich shared in the shutout. The team will play Fulton on Thursday for the district championship.

C Team Finishes with Hickman

The JV Soccer Team beat the Cole Camp Varsity 7-0 last night. Scoring for Helias was Alex Barton, Gage West, Adam Bexten, Ian Luebbert, Ethan Lesko, Dane Haugen & Carson Mueller. Assists were credited to Nathan Mecurrio, Dane Haugen, Alex Barton and Gage West. Kyle Daledovich got the shutout in goal. The JV conclude their season with a record of 10-7-1.

The varsity boys took 1st place in the Red Division of the Capital City Classic this weekend. They beat Troy on Friday 1-0. Kyle Dorge got the goal and Brett Jackson got the assist. Then on Saturday the boys tied both Poplar Bluff and Joplin 0-0. Joe Keeven got his 7th, 8th, and 9th shutouts of the season. The boys are now 10-1-2 this year.
