Disappointing Lose To The Jays

The tennis team took 2 of the 3 doubles mathces to begin the match with their cross town rivals. Going into singles the Crusaders only needed to win 3 of the 6 singles matches, however they only won one. Alex Eickhoff was the only singles winner for the Crusaders.

The Crusader Tennis Team swept all the matches to win 9-0 against the Waynesville Tigers.

Crusaders Lose To Osage

THe tennis team lost to Osage 3-6. The only singles winners were Tommy Deuschle and Alex Eichhoff. Tommy and Alex paired up and won the only doubles match for the Crusaders.

Crusaders Are The Champs

The tennis team ran away with the Sedalia-Smith Cotton Tennis Invitational with 16.5 points. Lee Summit was 2nd and Duschene was 3rd. The doubles team of Chris Grigsby / Nick Kroeger won the doubles tournament. They played their teammates Joe SChieber / Christian Villanueva in the finals. In singles action, Tommy Deuschle led the charge by placing 3rd and Alex Eickhoff placed 5th.

The Crusaders swept all of the varsity matches to defeat the Rolla Bulldogs 9-0. The team is now 7-3.

The Crusader Tennis team defeated the Marshall Owls 8-1 on Wednesday April 20. Singles winners were Nick Kroeger, Chris Grigsby, Joe Schieber, Christian Villanueva, Tommy Deuschle. The Crusaders took 2 of the 3 doubles.

Crusaders Saluted At MMA Invitational

The Crusader tennis team won the the Missouri Military Academy Tennis Invitational on Saturday. Winning their respective flights were at # 2 singles Chris Grigsby, #3 singles Joe Schieber, #4 singles Christian Villanueva, #5 singles Tommy Deuschle and winning the doubles flight were Alex Eickhoff and Patrick Remis. Nick Kroeger placed 2nd in the #1 singles flight.

Crusaders Dominate Spartans

The boy's tennis team dominated Moberly yesterday 9-0. Singles winners were Chris Grigsby, Nick Kroeger, Joe Schieber, Christian Villanueva, Tommy Dueschle, and Alex Eickhoff. The team completed the sweep of varsity matches by winning all of the doubles. The team is now 5-3 on the season.

Another Close Match

On Saturday the tennis team lost another nail biter to Springfield Central 5-4. All of the matches were close and it did come down to the last match of the day. Singles winners were Chris Grigsby and Alex Eickhoff. Doubles winners were the #1 team of Chris Grigsby / Nick Kroeger and the #3 team of Christian Villanueva and Tommy Deuschle. The team will be back in action on Thursday when they host Moberly.

Tennis Team Splits 2 On Friday in Springfield

On Friday the boy's tennis team went 1 and 1 on the day. They lost a close match to Glendale 5-4 and won 7-2 against Kickapoo. It was a long day for the tennis team. Play began at 1:00 and ended at 7:00. They did have about a 45 minute break between the two contests.

Team Tames Bulldogs

The boy's tennis team improived their record to 3-1 with a 9-0 victory over the Mexico Bulldogs. Singles winners were Nick Kroeger, Chris Grigsby, Joe Schieber, Christian Villanueva, Tommy Deuschle, and Alex Eickhoff. The team is back in action on Friday when they travel to Springfield to play Glendale and Kickapoo and Springfield Central on Saturday.
